Mark is a rare hybrid; a combination of successful careers that has included 4 years in blue-chip retail management, 9 years developing his own highly successful sales and marketing consultancy, 6 years as a professional actor working in London’s West End and on television and for the last 10 years working exclusively in the learning and development sector. This breadth of real world experience mixed with creativity has resulted in Mark having a knowledgeable and practical approach to helping develop others.

In 1990 Mark dissolved his marketing agency and fulfilled a lifetime's ambition, to train as a professional actor. Three years later Mark graduated from London's Mountview Theatre School. After that his career has took him from London's West End playing the lead role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, to leading roles in National Tours of Blood Brothers, Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol and many other productions. He's also worked in productions in Sweden, Ireland & Israel. Numerous TV roles and commercials have given Mark a varied and challenging acting career.

It was during the late 1990s that Mark realised that his combination of corporate knowledge and business experience, mixed with his acting ability, made him a highly skilled role-player. The passions Mark felt for the business world and people development resulted in the creation of Corporate Drama, a specialist team of highly skilled business actors offering dynamic, creative development solutions.

Since 2005 Mark has developed his career as a trainer, facilitator and coach. With extensive experience of defining and implementing behavioural changes to deliver business objectives, Mark specialises in developing commercially focussed strategies that include performance management, business development, influencing, personal brand, impact and communication. Mark is also an experienced and skilled coach who works regularly with individuals at all levels; including high performing executives and senior management teams.

Mark is passionate about working with client organisations to drive business results and develop individual and team capability. He has worked with numerous blue chip companies and small businesses across a range of sectors.

Mark is a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personal Development) is a CTI trained coach and is accredited to use MBTI© (Myers Briggs Type Indicator), SDI© (The Strength Deployment Inventory) and SPIN© sales methodology.
